AST Hampsons Solicitors is delighted to announce the promotion of Joanne Ford to partner. Joanne has been with AST Hampsons since 2016, making significant contributions to the Private Client department. In particular she has developed the Court of Protection Department and is now head of the Court of Protection team.
Joanne works with lay and professional deputies to assist and support applications to the Court of Protection and is also a Court appointed deputy.
Joanne’s work varies from making Court applications to appoint deputies, to obtaining authority in respect of specific issues such as orders for the sale or purchase of property. Joanne also advises deputies on the extent of their authority when it comes to the management of a vulnerable person’s affairs.
